Very common for them to herd up like that this time of year. Unfortunately, I'm seeing very little of it here this year. My area was hit very hard by EHD last summer. I'm starting to be conditioned to not look for them on the morning drive it's so bad.

Walking around this morning in shorts and flip flops with the dogs watching the townie deer walk thru the neighbors yard . They come thru each morning eating the plants and shrubs.

Good morning. Nothing worse than a light drizzle here. It's been too long since I ran a saw, as soon as this weather clears I'm going to go cut a whole cord and sell it to buy more car parts! I've got a guy who lives smack in the middle of pere marquette state park/Alton tourist area that will come and get it next day and pays whatever I ask so long as it's reasonable. He turns around and sells it for 3-4 times what he paid me once it's dry and I'm still getting better than anyone else around here.

Daughter's yard was flooded. Sump pump ran continuously for 45 minutes then cycled for a couple hours. 50 gpm pump - so about 2250 gallons of water. A swamp was drained to build the small 50 house subdivision. Her house was the first built and all the other houses were built a little higher.

Belly came off at 155°. It slices much easier once chilled but I was curious since I added some syrup to the cure. It's nice. Real nice.
