I had a trip to the city, had to buy 25 liters of diesel for the tractor, we start splitting tomorrow.
$9.41 per gallon, ie $2.48 per liter.....this planet going bankrupt!
You might be glad you got it that cheap in a couple of weeks.

You kids these days with yer fancy infernal combustion engines... why, in my day, we felled trees with axes, split wood with mauls, and plowed with oxen!

And, we were thankful!

Yep, I think it's going to get worse in a month.
I drive a little, so the half tank I filled in the car lasts a month or two.
Tractors I need 4-5 cans for the splitting.
Very glad that I'm not a farmer or a truck driver with these prices.

Yeh, I poasted a while ago about diesel prices and going from £1.40 Lt to 1.58 and more.

We’re now at £1.82 Lt. 🤦‍♂️

You can do the maths.

But if I remember correctly. The gulf war we almost hit £2 Lt back in 90\91 😴. So I can only guess it will hit a lot more in today’s prices

Damn, you beat us by a few pence, but there's not much difference between us.
The funniest thing with us is that the color diesel should be the cheapest since it goes to farmers, transport etc, but right now it's the most expensive!

Morena E Hoas.
A few fish to clean, then a bait freezer to attempt to refill.

Keep safe ay. Especially Ed, it's been so wet there he has a submarine in his yard.

This is what was clinging to a maple in my yard.

Can't believe this didn't break. Unfortunately it won't stand back up either.
