Filled the truck up with gas yesterday. Big sign said $3.85 a gallon.
Someone's dyslexia worked in my favor as the price on the pump that I paid was $3.58.
Way too expensive but I'll take the discount.

Moving sale yesterday had four older non-epa gas cans. I asked how much. "$5 for all four". One of them had about four gallons of gas in it.

Lots of power outages here. No power at work and most of town so I'm at home. Outside it's just a steady noise of branches and trees snapping and falling.

My parents had a branch go down and pull the lines down along their driveway again. Being a dead end road with only 3 houses who knows when that will get fixed.

Coming down mostly frozen already here, about an inch or so of it on the ground, like white crunchy snow. Hardly anything on the trees at all. Schools are all closed though.

My friend hauls scrap metal for extra income does really well with it
As a little side hustle

One of his customers bought this Jeep Wrangler put new wranglers all around it
Somehow got a sticker on it and discovered the frame has a really bad rusted out spot
He was mad and gave it to my friend.
We're going to plate the frame or replace it if he finds a good one.
Another guy gave him a f250 I haven't seen it yet but he drove it home
4x4 works and it runs and drives good.
It hit 90° here so I've been driving around visiting people.

Ended up with right around a half inch of ice on everything. Barely above freezing and calling for a bit more freezing rain tonight, the heaviest north of me. Sounds like @Stump Shot will be on the north end of it.
My poplar got tore up and a couple branches off my maple.

Morning folks. 32 to 37 for daytime tempd, then more moistures and freezing temps for the overnight. If I make it to the place with trees the claim is for 8" ( maybe 8"+) by Saturday morning. In town less than 2".
