The junkyard would have given him $30 less than his bill would have been for me diagnosing the no start condition.
He signed the title over to me for taking care of the bill..
Going to swap the fenders and tailgate onto my plow truck, pull the 5.3 and junk the rest..

Dang, only 15 years for a truck to rot out and be scrapped makes me glad I'm not up north.

We had crazy winds all day yesterday and today. More tomorrow. Power went out last night from 6pm to 1am. Huge trees down everywhere. Spruce took out some transmission lines at the end of the block, and the city and power company were working until the early morning. Multiple structure fires, including a family from church losing their entire house. Probably related to embers from a stove. I talked the the public works director from the city and got permission again to scavenge the city’s brush pile. Lots of large spruce. I’ll be busy cutting tomorrow. Got to have a vintage saw evening tonight with the p45 and 041 Super.
