Good morning. 30°/ -1°C going up to 48°F/ 9°C.
It’s a winter kill. From what I understand the ice being on for so long plus snow cover blocking sunlight from reaching the plants below causes a low oxygen situation. Had I known I would have shoveled/plowed it off. I plan to add a bubbler from now on to keep some water open.Damn shame. Know what caused it?
It is my pond. As a hobby I try to grow the largest bluegill possible. Yes low 02. Pond is 12+ feet deep.Privite pond? Shallow water? Was it a freeze out, low oxygen?
NopeBIG BUMMER!!!! wasn't chemical was it?
The coons will find them in my woodlot soon enough. No COONS to help out
It takes a while for ol' Mr. Sun to get around to us.When will you sloths wake up?

Next time you travel, make sure you have a foam filter in each nostril, then you will avoid most of the viruses floating around.Good afternoon gang.
This cold thing, i got . a snotty nose with a cough that is really painful on the lungsis a pita. I didn’t do anything yesterday and very little today.
(Only been and got some oil & filter, as well as a fuel filter to service the Amarok), before it goes up as it probably will.
so I brought 20l for £132.00 which is a good saving when buying different sizes as I need 7lts each time. That’s me sorted for awhile..
Diesel has gone up by 15p a litre in the last week, it’s now £1.59 , and will probably go up a bit more

Are you speaking from experience? They are saying we will get 10-12" Sunday into Monday here.
Or, a typical Friday night for Dallas.
Are you speaking from experience?
Don't get jelly on us. LOLAre you speaking from experience?
Yeah I’ve been looking into that. It hasn’t been an issue in the past so it’s not something I spent much time thinking about until now.Just an observation
It is possible to add/run an aerator for those couple of weeks that the pond would freeze preventing the killoff. One of the inlaws has done this with their coi pond for over a decade. They are just using a 1/3hp water punp that is left on during our cold spells. It seems to even keep the plant life from totally dieing out as well.
Simple setup .
We are supposed to be just on the top edge of that system, I am hoping you keep it all down there.Good morning.
Nice day ahead, doesn't look like it'll stay that way...
