Sap is flowin about as hard as it does today.

Flowing real good here too. Most of what’s in my buckets was frozen this morning so I decided to wait until tomorrow for the first boil. I may bring everything in to thaw later if I need to.

Someone was fishing where we normally put the carcasses back in to the harbour and his eyes lit up at the bucket full so the heads and wings went to him to feed his whanau (family) too.

Snow likely before 4pm, then snow likely, possibly mixed with sleet. Cloudy, with a high near 36. East wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Forecast "Kind of mellowed out" still calling for colder weather but less moisture..

I have about ten more gallons to go. With this weeks weather climbing into the sixties I may only boil one more time. Hoping for one or two more good runs.
