Collected the first bucket of sap of the season yesterday. I only do a few quarts for our use. Three trees. Amazing how light and sweet the early syrup comes out.

It's been 10 weeks since my hand surgery. Yesterday replaced brake pads and cleaned up rotors on daughter's Subaru. First time dealing with electronic parking brake. Didn't need a scanner to put it in brake maintenance mode as there was a way manually to do the job. Got to love u-tube. Hand was OK but wrist still feels like it is sprained.
