Sunny and warm. Going to be like a false spring here for a week or so. Otherwise, nothing overly exciting, saws, lots of saws, see.

On the bird front, there's chickadees, finches and about four different kinds of small woodpeckers. They've been eating on a venison rib cage and a suet seed log hanging from a branch that I can watch out my window. The big Epilated woodpeckers moved out in the late fall and didn't winter here this year. Blue jays come and go it seems, nothing steady. The pair of owls come for a spell until the squirrel population gets too low for them and they move on.

How do I know the future of automotive repair is righteously fųcķed?

Because for the last 2 and a half hours Carter has been laying on a creeper under a vehicle he put on a hoist and raised up about 14"..


Last I checked one purpose of a hoist was to stand under the vehicle..

I used to put out, meat stripped (almost) deer ribcages/backbone/necks, to see what the game cam would see.

First time I got a big bobby pic then the carcass was gone? WTF? Found it buried under debris ~50 yards away, same bobbys work.

So...I dragged it back , took two hefty hardwood poles and secured it to the ground. Like Vlad the impaler.

I added a couple old eggs to the spot

Us too. Unseasonably warm weather and a lot of rain so far. We should have had 60-80 inches of snowfall so far, but we’ve only gotten 5-6 inches total. Every time we get a cold front, the winds change and come from the south.
