Afternoon all, 12f feels like -4 but the sun is out and the sky is blue.

The wind and drifting last night packed some nasty snow up. Had a hard time pushing the snow chucker through. Had to use a spade to break it up, as deep as 2 ft in places. Not my favourite way to spend a few hours, really looking forward to spring…

I made some oak rounds into "75 year old, just got done with cancer" size pieces for my Dad to split on the warmer days coming up.


Plus, GFY where necessary and/or required.

He’s responsible for the wrap around deck and stairs. He was out there with me for most of it. I knew I was in trouble as soon as my phat a$$ didn’t sink and t to the drifts.

Waiting to see what happens in the mornng and if the achool bus will be running. If not he can tackle the last spot using tue big scoop to open up our turn around spot.

I had a great day, performed surgery on three G generators, ran out of epoxy so they won't be finished until tomorrow.
And so I have printed out all the 2025 farm bills, now the receipts must be stapled on, and as usual there will be a bit of searching after missing receipts. This looks like it will be amazing!

Tore down the front hubs on the old Sportsman for new seals. Checked the magnetic coils, they’re good, bearings good.

Tore down the rear hubs for new bearings and seals plus axle boots.

At 25 years old it is due some love.



We had some melting today. Almost 40°.

I fell on the ice and bashed the back of me noggin on the cold ground.
Paramedic son-in-law says I will live if I don’t do it again this week.
