The propane delivery scheduled for Monday arrived just now, which is good, because the furnace is doing its best to empty the tank. Supposed to hit 20f tonight. Somewhere around 28 I start worrying about the pipes under the house.

Evening all, had to drive into the city today, $500 in groceries later made it home. There were moments on the drive home that we wondered if we would make it. Some of the worst winter driving conditions I have ever experienced. Blowing snow and ground drifting left the visibility near zero at times. Had a couple moments where the snow drifts almost stopped us dead and once that T shrieked as she thought the oncoming struck was coming right at us.

18f with sustained 30mph winds.

Good morning. Waiting for the weather to warm up so I can get back to cutting and working on the pilot in the meantime. DON'T EVER BUY A PILOT! They are a pain to work on in more than one spot. That being said though it's not lived a easy life and it's still going with 226,000. Original engine and transmission.

Note to self..
Put a scrench somewhere in the skidsteer..
View attachment 481514
My friend used a scrench instead of a lynch pin in the padlock eyes of his engine side covers (Skidders) At times he had 4 or more available. Parkinson's with the dementia Trumped that idea.
I go downtown (About 5 blocks) to my wood pile and have a stash of them here and there. I have been known to forget the saw. On the bright side I postpone backaches.
