Not a fun start to my morning… little Honda Civic blew a red light and T-Boned me.

Dammit! Not that many of those trucks left in nice condition. Sorry about that, hope no one was badly hurt.

Well that sucks.

On the other hand, in a collision between a Civic and an F-150, i know which one id rather be in!

Luckily nobody got hurt. That truck had really grown on me. The color, interior, etc. It has new heads, new trans, all new engine electronics and sensors, brakes, wheel bearings and seals, u joints, steering linkage, power steering box and pump, timing chain, water pump, cat delete, air pump delete, injectors, all new fluids, EGR, IAC, basically everything mechanical had been baselined.

It hauled a lot of wood with me, and other things.

Today when she was gettIng some groceries out of the back, this happened.

I am so thankful she wasn’t still behind it It is very icy here and we live on a mountain so…

Might not hurt to spread some wood ashes on that driveway and walkway. They work almost as well as sand as an abrasive, and you probably have plenty of them. Glad she wasn't hurt!

For more money than this truck will ever be worth. It’s totally done. The subframe for the cab is crumpled like a can. Body mounts, all the way to the front and rear are crunched. One frame rail is 2” forward of the other at the front bumper. The whole body twisted and I can’t close even the driver’s door on the other side. Interior plastic panels are broken. The whole truck is shaped like a “C” on either side.

I am going in to the office today. County government on a 2 hour delay….not sure what 2 hours at 20° is going to do for travel but whatever I am going to town.
