Snowpocalypse has been changed to snow followed by freezing rain.

Single digit lows this coming week. Not as crazy as some of y’all but cold for me.

Plenty of oak on the porch and making soup tomorrow to bring in the frozen stuff.

I had a brainstorming day . Any way that generator is done , I readjusted the rocker tappits , I sort of knew it be a little bit small On the gap
Then there was swapping the old trailer tyres and wheel rims for new tyres and rims. Damnit just finding the tools a putting them away. Adds a lot of time to the job, let alone anything else that crops up …

And then swapping or sorting a few electric things in that trailer..anyway that’s done now… till another day

Precip starts this afternoon. Snow followed by sleet followed by freezing rain all day Sunday. I have plenty of oak on the porch, generator on go and we are as ready as can be.

-21° when we left the house, already up to -4°. I'm not going to move, especially with a coffee place so close that I've been going to since I was wee. You can get a cheeseburger for breakfast off of that magical 50+ year old grill...

@GCJenks204 found out yesterday that my Dad has been cleared. Follow up p.e.t. scans every 6mo for probably the rest of his life because that type of cancer is a nasty one and they expect it to return at some point.
The radiation and chemo was pretty rough on him thus time, plus with it in his esophagus, that made eating even more difficult. He did have a few short hospital stays during it.
He's back to doing šhįt he most likely shouldn't be doing. Him and my mom get out ice fishing on the warmer days.
This is now the third time he's beat some type of cancer. The V.A. is still jerking him around on any type of assistance which is totalbůllśhįt. Last I heard they were asking to list days he was potentially in contact with Agent Orange..yeah, how about any fúckįng day he was in the jungles of Vietnam...


Anyhow, what goes on up in this bish?
