Good morning. Hand pain not bad, till the cat jumped on it this morning wanting food. Icing it takes away the throbbing.
Good to hear. How does it work that you gash your hand on Friday and see a surgeon on Wednesday? They close it then open it back up?

Pro tip from a master mechanic:

On saws with an outboard clutch, it is somewhat easier to install the sprocket if you haven't already installed the drum and bearing.

Yes, see the surgeon on Wednesday and probably 2 or 3 week wait for swelling to go down and make sure there is no infection. That's what the ER doc said - so we will see.

Cutting small wood behind the church with my little Echo top handle. 3-4" branches , cutting left handed and holding up the wood with right hand. Cut into a crotch and saw kicked back cutting top of my right hand. Off to the ER, cut index finger tendon and chip out of a bone. Have to see a hand surgeon Wednesday.View attachment 476063

Past experience with my Wife's serious ankle surgeries (and others) impressed me with how they can explain what to expect, they intend and why...
helps minimize anxiety and gives peace of mind. Sounds like you aren't giving your care givers much concern which is a good thing.
Get Well so you don't have all of us here at OPE posting all of these well wishes.:ambulance:
