What you got cooking @Stump Shot ?
Sloppy Joes and baked beans. Will get rounded out with some tater salad, chips and whatnot.
It makes it much easier on me if I can prep cook the day before and set everything out in crock pots to warm and be ready for lunch in the morning. So, nothing supper fancy, but with only a couple of days of summer left, a summer style picnic meal is nice treat to have before the weather turns cold.

Wishing I was about 1500 miles closer. I can eat the hell out of a sloppy joe.

I'm still in the soldering business, damn, flex cable soldering is so hard, something tells me I'll end up with wires.

Other than that, my day is going really well, just sold a refurbished 254xpg, and there's a chance I'll end up with one or two more that disappear. If so, I've financed the 540mk3 and the 564xpg (the last one is on order).

So did husky finally make a runner top handle on the 3rd redesign? Not being a smart ass just asking since everyone here gave up at mark 2. Even guys with husky big saws have Stihl or echo top handles.

The one I have has a rear handle, I don't climb lol.
No, I don't consider it perfect, straight out of the box I like it better than the 201, maybe a little faster acceleration, but that's a nuance though.
What I definitely don't like about it is that the chain easily jumps off even when it's quite tight. It could be that mine doesn't have the latest chain cover, or that the OEM 3/8 bar is prone to chain jumps.
I have an Echo Tsumura light bar that I haven't rebuilt yet, so until I rebuild it I have no idea if the bar or the chain cover is the weakness.

Worked on this Cirrus today. Needed two exhaust valves lapped.

I'm not into airplanes, in fact the only time I've ever been in a small plane was in cub scouts early 70's, Cessna maybe?
I read this on Wed and was the 1st I'd ever heard of / seen a Cirrus brand plane, then coincidentally today I get this pop up on the computer

which states it was a Cirrus SR22T. Question being, are these popular personal aircraft?

540 mk3, I think they are about to come up with a 325 nk drum for it too, but that is uninteresting to me, I bought it to have something with less vibration than the 242xpg, and 3/8lp has a good chain selection. Tsumura has also come up with Premium light in 3/8lp, but currently only found in the UK and heavily overpriced, but that bar would be my preferred bar for the 540 mk3.

Man, that sucks about the crash. These planes are extremely popular among doctors, lawyers, and other business folk. Back in the day, the popular plane for the same market was the Beachcraft Bonanza. They were known as “doctor killers”. Not because they were bad planes, but more because they were flown by idiots. Cirrus is a lot like Porsche. They’re cool, but mostly just owned by idiots who actually don’t have much technical knowledge. “Real pilots” tend to roll their eyes at Cirrus pilots. But they are fast, fairly safe, and much cheaper than a jet.

Always wondered what the difference in 3/8 and 3/8 LP is with the bars. Are they skinnier?

Gotcha, thanks, after you mentioned it I do seem to recall hearing about Beachcraft, just not in my world...
Sounds a lot like the extreme white collar folk that think nothing about dropping a couple hundred thousand in a Jeep to make a legit rock crawler, then needing to drop $20k into it after every outing cuz they have no idea how to operate them. Guessing fewer die rolling a souped up Wrangler than slamming into mountains from 10k feet altitude

I've never measured them but they look much slimmer than classic 3/8. When it first came out it was with a 325 mini 43 ga chain, I've only heard negative things about that combo, so that's why I chose 3/8lp 50ga.
I was looking for something that gave less vibration than 325, otherwise I always choose 325 or 3/8.
+ haven't had a lightweight saw since 2012. I'm mainly going to use it to clear brush, my yard is very hilly so a brush cutter wasn't really optimal.

Just remembered I've got new Stihl 3/8 LP square on one saw and new Stihl 3/8 square on another. Huge difference. Cutters are much smaller and narrower, maybe not as small as picco. The LP chain measures 33 thousandths narrower at .151 vs .184. Didn't measure the bars but the Tsumura 3/8 LP felt much narrower.

Shoot perv.
Shoot dealer.
Call cops: "I'm hearing gunfire, and I'm afraid somebody's going to get hurt! Please send somebody!"
Dispatcher: "Sir, this is the non-emergency line. Did you mean to dial 911?"
"Not really. As long as Waste Management gets here by Monday, I'm cool."

Sheriff came by. Guy who just moved in across the street is a sex offender, and my next door neighbor is dealing fentanyl. Other than that, the neighborhood is peaceful.
Little town we have a place at is crawling with both. Everybody knows it and treats them like they're good as anyone.
Neighborhood where we live in the city both get run off as quick as they move in.
