Two new 1000 liter bags are finished, now I'm going to have a cup of tea.
Tomorrow I'm going to take a blood test, a year since the last time I took it, so we'll see where the cholesterol is.
Thanks to all, surgeon said the tendon took some 'chunks' of kneecap with it when it went into orbit, but otherwise a textbook re-attachment. He did mention drills and installing anchors, so I suppose a shout-out to DeWalt or Milwaukee is in order. He did mention that being in (sort of) good shape for the age helps recovery, so another shout-out to Husky, Stihl, Echo & Fiskars! Apparently looking at 6 weeks crutches with increasing knee rotation starting at about 2 weeks, then formal 6 week rehab once off the 6 weeks of crutches. Cannot honestly say that I'm looking forward to it, but without the muscle attached a one-inch leglift was impossible, soooooooo yeah, pretty sure the Doc's orders will be followed pretty closely.
Thanks again for the well wishes!
