I can say definitively that the political bs, both ways, on here has turned many regulars away.
Would make for good debate, expand Canada's borders to include the cold parts of the US that the South doesn't want. I could get behind it, everyone I know from Wisco, ND, MN and MT are some of the best people I deal with.

Dallas I have likely talked to many of the same folks and am aware of why they left. I’m not looking to out anyone, but also cannot sit in silence when the question of why nobody comes on here anymore is asked.

Stupid shít had been said in both directions and relationships have been damaged. It’s a shame but that’s a big reason traffic is down here. I mostly don’t hang out in this thread because I just don’t have much extra time with a family and small business to take care of on a shoestring budget.
I will say this if I see political bull shít in the open forum I’m not going to be very lenient. Engaging in such activities is bound to ruffle feathers.
Just as a general life lesson: Spouting your political views off on any social media platform is bound to alienate around 50% of the people in your circle of influence. Why participate in such activities? The vast majority of people are unwilling to have an honest discussion on such things.
When there is no mutual desire to discuss something, and you continue to spout off it’s just militant noise contributing to the over all problem. It’s detrimental to everyone involved.
Take a step back folks and think critically for yourself. Don’t just gobble up the garbage you’re being fed by the BBC or Fox News. It’s pretty clear that the playbook is divide and conquer at this point.

You know that post isn’t directed at you. I don’t have any reason to do anything to you at this point. I haven’t seen you spout politics in the open thread and you generally get along with everyone.
