The BBC is publicly owned.

WAPO is owned by Bezos. Who is a billionaire that refused to allow the editorial board to endorse Kamala Harris, and attended Trump's inauguration.

Like I said......the stupidest time in all of human history is right where we are now.
such as ?

I don't understand how you Americans can live with -˚F, the coldest I've experienced in the last 15 years in my region is -6˚F, but a cold winter day is normally around 14˚F, but it's just as normal with 40˚F in the winter part of my country.

If I were you I would sell the states that are so cold, to the Chinese or Mexicans, and move to warmer climes.

I read the headlines in the BBC, and WAPO this fine morning. All I can say is that we are living in the stupidest time in all of human history.
Like you, I try to read news from slightly different channels, it never hurts to see news from multiple angles.

bbc owned or ran by boris johnson ill do more information searching
wapo owned by jeff bezos
Boris Johnson was Prime Minister for a short time, a Prime Minister in the UK has very little power over newspapers in the UK, such as the BBC.
You should read some English newspapers, and you will see that the newspapers do not flatter politicians.

I like the cold, Tor. When working outside in the snow with my hands (thin gloves on) the snow is “dry” and falls off, not melting in and making my hands wet and cold. Once the temps start warming up near the freezing mark, snow melts a lot easier, making hands cold and miserable. The colder the better here, for what I do.

Just above freezing is the worst in my experience. Which is pretty extensive. I framed houses most of my life. Cold damp air is miserable.
