@3browns, I drilled the spot welds and removed the inner baffle completely, then opened up the outlet as much as possible keeping the stock deflector operational.
Eventually I'll add another port somewhere but that was a noticeable improvement.

Nevermind, I found a parts breakdown and I will stop at the ACE store and see if they have the gasket before I tear into this thing

I was able to reuse my gasket. I did have one here just in case, that's probably why it didn't split.

Warm today after a frog strangler of a storm last night. Washed out the drive a bit, otherwise a friend dropped off a couple ice cream pails of strawberries that had to go from the storms, so it ain't all bad. Cooking them down now.
