302's can make some good power too, right up until the block splits down the middle.
Or course copious amounts of nitrous or boost help that to happen.

Yeah not gonna do anymore than the heads cam and intake on my 302. It runs pretty good, but have a roller 351 to build for boost.

Began fitting up the passenger wheel arch patch panel I bought on the Skylark today. Patch panel was hand formed and isn't a perfect fit, but I should be able to make it work with some tweaking.

Easy with 351 and boost

Got the little snowblower running. Perfect piston and cylinder.
Some doufass slid the carb float shutoff tab between the wires from the needle.
The baffle inside the muffler had fractured with a piece blocking the exhaust outlet on occasion.

It runs now, but it's loud.

Going to try to open up the muffler and see if it can be salvaged. Its has the Tecumseh HSK600 engine.
