The boy showed me a YT vid the other day where a fulla rode a snowmobile across a warm liquid body of water and then up a sand dune.
I guess keeping it on the plane is the critical bit.

The temperature of the water does not play into the variables.

Used skip open water all the time, even sank one, skipping a long channel in between two lakes, new years morning '99 we were ringing in the new year with a blast, bout 3 am, were still out & about partying like idiots. Sled ran out of gas mid way across the channel, plop right in the drink, was only about -18F, talk about a buzz kill.

Yes. It’s called a snap cut. I’d have suggested what Andy did with cutting them both down at the same time, but I don’t know your felling proficiency. I tend to think there isn't as much pressure on that branch as you might imagine. It’s probably better when it’s not so wet there as well. Cutting the support branch is the second best option. You could always rig up some tannerite on the branch and fix the problem ballistically.
See, that is why I like it here. Never thought of tannerite. Of course I would have to get it up on that branch. Good thinking outside the box. Maybe my boy could get me some det cord. Lol.

Do you own a 20' aluminum ladder? If not now's a good time to buy one.

Most NSP tree removal videos on YouTube, start with a ladder, then a chainsaw.
I have a ladder, never thought that I could use it to get up higher though. Thanks for the tip. Lol

Good morning fellas. Happy Sunday.

Father in law and I are going to fire up an AMC 360 this afternoon and break in the cam. We built a makeshift engine run-in stand from an old Jeep frame with the radiator still in place and whatnot. It works great.

Is LawnBoi still over there, or did he head for home already?

I used warm liquid body of water to differentiate from frozen hard body of water.
Because dullards.

I have not seen that product

I’ve used Stoners products for years in my auto detailing processes

That adhesive just looks nasty

Let us know what works for you
Half way home @3browns.
Rapidtac Rapid Remover clear winner of these three including WD-40.
Adhesive was nasty as you observed.20240317_155007.jpg20240317_155023.jpg20240317_155401.jpg

Slacking real hard today, flipped on the anascar race I. Time to see a crash and then a Stihl commercial for Zero-turn mowers? What the actual?? Did the buy someone or are they really arrogant to think they can enter that market and bring anything new?

It’s a rebranded Ferris courtesy of Briggs and strapon.

I feel for my local dealer, he has a pretty small shop but this will be at least the 4th line of zero turns he has to stock/ show.
Both our dealers already stock Ferris and Badboy, and the last two years Stihl of course. They sure aren't any cheaper than Ferris for sure.
