I’ve never tried it. I’m brave enough to go over 100mph but not cross open water. The temperature of the water does not play into the variables.
Used skip open water all the time, even sank one, skipping a long channel in between two lakes, new years morning '99 we were ringing in the new year with a blast, bout 3 am, were still out & about partying like idiots. Sled ran out of gas mid way across the channel, plop right in the drink, was only about -18F, talk about a buzz kill.
My local dealer had some last year. I didn’t pay much attention but I’m sure they’ll sell.Slacking real hard today, flipped on the anascar race I. Time to see a crash and then a Stihl commercial for Zero-turn mowers? What the actual?? Did the buy someone or are they really arrogant to think they can enter that market and bring anything new?
I am going to have to look into this product closerHalf way home @3browns.
Rapidtac Rapid Remover clear winner of these three including WD-40.
Adhesive was nasty as you observed.View attachment 412331View attachment 412332View attachment 412333
lol what if hes under it helping it come down lolHe'd have a better chance at winning the lottery, or getting struck by lighting.
Then being in the exact spot in the woods, where that tree would smash him when it came down naturally.
Yes sir, good eyes on that. Weird it is shaded in the basecoat but the clear coat looks ok. Would the black vinyl pigment leach into the base/clear coat like that? It wasn't that jacked beforehand? It's been on there for 5 years approx. though.I am going to have to look into this product closer
Thanks for the heads up and glad it worked out for you @timg
Looks like you might need some paint correction but that beats a re-spray
That means The Bubba is safe. Right?I'm the actual slacker it sounds like. I've not used a saw much at all since I hurt my upper back. I figured I'd better let it heal awhile. Sweat lodge today.
That will make a good young man's first truck. Now keep records on maintenance and repairs. You should not loose any money on it for sure. My suggestion is get the glass installed on site. One leak with you and your dad's replacement and it's all over. You will be buying another window as I suspect it is a glue in.I’m back folks. Good evening. I bought the truck with $2 to spare. Now I need to insure/register it and stuff and buy a new or used windshield. We might install the windshield ourselves. The test drive went great, the truck has many new parts like brake lines, rebuilt tranny, front CV joints, etc… in the recent years in which it hasn’t been driven much. Not bad at all for $900. The custom XD series wheels are awesome and the tires have really good tread and life left in them. 4x4 works. The heavy duty bed cover works. The hood is aftermarket which is cool. There’s an exhaust rattle of sorts. The tailgate rusted in such a way it looks like it got peppered with a shotgun, lol. I had to leave it behind at my dad’s cabin in the northern part of the state tho until I can afford to register it and all that stuff.
Yeah, would be a glue in. Ok. We keep good records on all the maintenance and repairs on all of our vehicles. That will make a good young man's first truck. I forgot to mention it has the 6.0 motor.
Yes, it was worth it. Like timg said, it would be really hard for me to ever lose money on it considering scrap value and all the modifications like the wheels, hood, and bed cover which I would keep or sell if I scrapped the truck, amongst other things.
