The sleds with 2 metal runners are fun at night in the summer because of the trail of sparks as you go down the road.

In the bush it was kids behind snowmachines on the lakes and rivers and they called it Hooky Bobbing

They didn't have skates or sleds, but sliding in their boots

The ski mask reminds me of how nobody even flinched when we walked into the little gas station and food mart covered from head to toe including our faces and rifles slung on our backs when we were headed out in deep winter on our snowmachines, caribou hunting

Nobody even blinked and not many places even then that would have happened

My neighbor/ firewood cutting buddys wife was admitted to the hospital yesterday.
She has a staph infection affecting her blood and kidneys. They tried dialysis but her blood pressure went up very high and this morning they have put her on a respirator.

She is only 40yrs. old. College educated,mother,beekeeper,and avid fisherwomen. She taught her husband to fish and would go fishing 3 times a week in the neighbors pond and the saltwater river nearby.
The wife and I really like this girl she is a positive light in the neigborhood.

Everyone take care of yourselves, you never know whats around the next corner.

Too many good folks getting down. Prayers of help and health for your friend.

That dam car of mine… I’ve driven 65 miles to get the bits from a used car place for my car and had to drive back home and got a few strange looks

I had the tailgate and the bumper in the back and the “tub” rear body on top of mine , because the guy that had the trailer was busy getting the floor fixed as some wood splitter went through it
