Truly sorry to hear that, I that she be comfortable until her time comes.
My Mom finally passed on last Wed., it was long and drawn out so it was time.

I completely understand this Steve.
Mom wasnt there for the last 6 months that she lived.
I felt sadness that she was gone when I realised she didnt know me or my dad anymore.
Relief that what was left wasnt suffering anymore, or causing my dad to suffer when she passed away.
My mom always had a smile that you couldnt mistake for anything else. It was just her thing.
I knew she was gone when that smile went away.
Memory-related illnesses are the worst IMO.
May she rest in peace, and you know that she had no choice in what happened.

So Tia somehow managed to dig a hole and crawl under the deck this evening.
Neither Susan or I noticed it til we noticed her missing.
Shes like a mouse. She can stuff her lanky little arse through a hole just big enough for her head.
Problem was, she couldnt drag her crippled little arse back through the same hole, so I had to take down a piece of lattice to let her back out.
Still dont know why she felt she HAD to get under there.
Lucy about killed me when we had to let her go.
This little chit just might do me in.

I am in Charleston SC with my wife, her sister, and her 4 teen and pre teen granddaughters. Well behaved kids for sure. We took the ferry to Fort Sumter yesterday....and saw the Angel Oak tree.
