Plenty of people around here ride without a helmet. Yet have it strapped on the bike.

Colorado does not have a helmet law, but neighboring states do.

Wisconsin doesn't have a helmet law. When I rode regularly I almost always wore a full face helmet. I tried it without once; none of my bikes had fairings or windshields at the time. Caught one of those huge green dragonflies in the teeth at 60 mph, had to pull over and puke. I had no desire to repeat that experience

Well. One of my favourite uncles woke up dead.

He was a character. Farmer, Rural real estate broker, golfer and rugby player.
His wake and funeral will be gold medal level yarn telling. He didn't really go in for serious.

Good morning folks. 80° and cloudy. A couple weeks ago I slammed a mess of bluegills. Made some bluegill po' boys last night. Good stuff.
