Had a go with that little Homelite a PS33. It needed a good looking over. Spark arrestor was partly plugged, found flow restrictions at the needle/seat, shining a light through from the other side you could see a partial blockage with a eye loupe, and reset the tab for the needle/seat it was to low after reassembly. Zama carb. Widened the flow restricted exhaust louver, it looked very restricted to me. Started 3rd pull after a couple of pumps on the bulb. Will put a couple of tanks of fuel through, b4 it goes back.

Piston and cylinder looked almost new, looking in through the exhaust port.
Seems like a spunky little saw. We'll see..
Only thing that didn't get attention is a oil sepage seeming to be coming from where the molded oil line goes through the oil tank case. Looking for a IPL to get a better idea if there is a simple cure.
