Kids got me a Tomahawk Ribeye for Fathers day.
Thats a BIG hunk of dead cow.
Little challenging, but I was able to get a good sear, then chuck it up top and ease the heat down til it made 115° in the center.
Turned out pretty good, and 3 of us got full off it, a baked tater, and some corn-on-the-cob.
Hard to tell from the pic, but that mfer was over 2" thick.

Got back to the homestead, and the rain gage is dry here. Got sprinklers on the garden , got to keep the garlic, blueberries, and tomatoes going. Everything else in the garden looked like it survived pretty good. Grass was crunchy but still green...

Nice sunny day. High around 65 ...warmest day this year. Track hoe rental made it 39 out of the 40 hour rental before losing a hydraulic line to the blade....meh...got done what I needed.
