Heres the facts as best ive learned them on the "cancer sticks".
Some people are more susceptible to "foreign bodies" in the lungs than others.
Ive known lifelong smokers who lived to be 90+.
Ive also known non-smokers who died in their 40s from lung cancer.
Never lit a cigarette.
Never lived in a household where one or both parents smoked.
It all really comes down to genetics.
Like a lot of things in life, it just ends up being a crap shoot.
Are you better off not smoking?
Definitely.
Are you better off not drinking?
Yep.
Are you better off not having sex?
Sure.
Better off never driving a fast car?
Absolutely.
All of those things can cause you to die before you're 100...
But did you do anything you enjoyed?
Little secret I'm gonna share with everybody here, and dont tell the younguns.
Every damn one of us is gonna die.
Yep. I said it.
Its a proven fact.
Mortality rate on this planet is 100%.
Randy would move...
What's wrong with having sex? How do you think you got here?
If my grandparents didn't or my parents didn't, I would not be here.
They must of really liked it, my moms parents had 13 kids, my dads parents had 8 kids, and my parents had 7 kids.
Someone was having lots of sex. Lol
Side note, both of my grandpas were smokers, one made it to almost 80 years old, the other one was a week shy of 100 years old when he passed, he had quit in 60's thou. Not sure how much that played into him almost making 100.
It's all chance thou, I had a uncle who was a smoker, he passed of lung caner at 64, his dad was my grandpa that almost lived to 100. A few of my other uncles on that side were also smokers, they made it to their mid 80's.
