Heres the facts as best ive learned them on the "cancer sticks".
Some people are more susceptible to "foreign bodies" in the lungs than others.
Ive known lifelong smokers who lived to be 90+.
Ive also known non-smokers who died in their 40s from lung cancer.
Never lit a cigarette.
Never lived in a household where one or both parents smoked.
It all really comes down to genetics.
Like a lot of things in life, it just ends up being a crap shoot.
Are you better off not smoking?
Definitely.
Are you better off not drinking?
Yep.
Are you better off not having sex?
Sure.
Better off never driving a fast car?
Absolutely.
All of those things can cause you to die before you're 100...
But did you do anything you enjoyed?
Little secret I'm gonna share with everybody here, and dont tell the younguns.
Every damn one of us is gonna die.
Yep. I said it.
Its a proven fact.
Mortality rate on this planet is 100%.
Randy would move...

What's wrong with having sex? How do you think you got here?

If my grandparents didn't or my parents didn't, I would not be here.

They must of really liked it, my moms parents had 13 kids, my dads parents had 8 kids, and my parents had 7 kids.

Someone was having lots of sex. Lol

Side note, both of my grandpas were smokers, one made it to almost 80 years old, the other one was a week shy of 100 years old when he passed, he had quit in 60's thou. Not sure how much that played into him almost making 100.

It's all chance thou, I had a uncle who was a smoker, he passed of lung caner at 64, his dad was my grandpa that almost lived to 100. A few of my other uncles on that side were also smokers, they made it to their mid 80's.

It’s not mint but it is a saw I’ve never put in wood and I usually run bigger saws
Damn clean one.
Nice plastics.
I sold them for a short time.
Probably sold more trimmers than saws.
T27 and B27 were the chit back then.
Probably still several of them still working.
Got a friend down in Monticello that sold them about the same time.
Stopped in to visit awhile back.
He had a 488 sitting there that he had as a demo unit. It had been through the wringer.
He said it was fine as far as he knew, just got tired of having to fugg with sharpening the chain on it, so he quit letting folks use it.

LOL!
Was being a bit extremist to prove a point my friend.
I.e, best way to avoid lung cancer is to avoid breathing. That way, nothing bad gets into your lungs.
Same way we can avoid gun violence is by not having hands and fingers...

1970 was a damn fine year if I say so for myself.
He lost control of that honda and hit a telephone pole not long after the sugar incident
He broke all his ribs mom put him on the living room couch
That's when I got my revenge
I ran and jumped over the back of the couch and landed on him on purpose
He screamed and maybe he blacked out I can't remember
But I know he never picked on me again
You had to be brutal and fight to make it in my family.

I was 11 in 1985, I was more into building tree forts in the woods, riding the 3 wheeler we had, and shooting my sling shot, than I was about getting Carry or Hailey (neighborhood girls) pregnant.
We had a Honda 110 3-wheeler.
Did NOT have Carrie or Hailey, or I probably would have been over riding on 2 wheels trying to get one(or both) of them to ride (with?) me...

I doubt I will ever get rid of it even if I never listen to it.
If my memory is correct my Dad said he bought it at the PX in Pleiku when he happened to be there between chasing around the jungle and had it shipped home.
Damn that looks about the same as dads!
I guess Akai was like the Pioneer and Kenwood of Southeast Asia in the late 1960s.
Cool...n stuffs...

We had a hand me down 110, got it off a farm that used the day lights out of it, as a work horse. It was held together with duck tape and bailing wire. My older brother got his hands on a 250R, I only rode it once, and it did not turn out very well, so I never rode it again. It was fast.

We also had a RM80 & RM125, but after several accidents, people getting hurt, my dad band all two wheeled things in the family, 3 or 4 wheels, or a track and two skis was still acceptable. I guess dad thought a 3 wheeler was safer then a dirt bike. Lol

Down from the ridge

All the roads washed out from the heavy rainsIMG_20230221_155733171_HDR.jpg
I cut some dead fall to build up the creek so he could get outIMG_20230222_180300250.jpg
Local shop wanted 9.00 per rim that's crazy
so I just bought 10 for 16.00 shipped.

Developers trying to develop above joe and have all their runoff come downhill to him. Town meeting about it. Developers is the greaseball!

This is correct.

You need to check your sources on that one Bubba
Yeah I knew the yarn, just not who greaseball was.
