Geek out. I'm a history buff too.
At one point I was on Google earth and you can see and follow the remnants of some of the old railroad branch paths. Alot of the main lines were turned into bike/jogging paths that span for miles. Would love to time travel and walk around in person, see everything from back then. Maybe drop a few gfy's and pull my fingers lol

Where I used to live in WI, they ripped up the old railroad, and turned it into a bike & jogging path, it was a snowmobile trail in the winter time. That trail was like a interstate, almost straight as an arrow forever.

I could get from town to town faster on that trail, then you could in a car/truck taking the roads.

In northern WI & MI there's a old railroad line that follows US Hwy 2, that's a snowmobile trail in the winter.

You can get from town to town, on that trail quick. Cruising along at 100 mph.

I was riding some old rail road route with some buddies one time. I was riding in between the rails that the switcher was on.
I hit that MFer going about 45mph and it stopped like right now! Next thing i knew i was about 25ft away from my snowmobile looking up at the sky surrounded by flashing lights.
Took an ambulance ride to the hospital and ended up with a broken wrist, 4 broken ribs on the right and 2 on the left.
My buddy had to us his truck to unwedge it so they could take it home.

They don't allow none of that here. Bike or feet. Thats it. Used to be able to ride the old track beds before the bike paths went in. Most here with sleds go north to ride. There used to be trails all throughout this area but that all ended. Landowners allowed the trails to operate as long as people were respectful of the land. Naturally idiots ruined that as the younger generation hit the scene.

They have I think a 55mph speed limit now.
The drunks were running out of talent at triple digits and they got tired of picking up body parts from remote areas.

All you mf'er's would do with a dump box is fill it full of dildo's and pretend you're Michael Phelps going for Olympic gold in it.
We use a lot of mulch here, would be great to spend a morning going back and forth to the sawmill and just dump loads in my pile. Might pickup a small load of gravel from time to time. Collecting wood would be easier too. Enough dildos driving around these days, don't need any more of those.

Is there a documentary on the train wreck from Painesville at the Lubrizol plant? I don't know if you remember Mike. About 10 years ago and it was designated a hazardous site for almost 2 years.
I don't know if there is or not but I do vaguely remember it. They got quite the operation there in painesville.

Would love a material list, my 250 is an 8' bed. Might actually do this.
Did you get that 460 repair done Larry?
A nice little dump trailer might be an option for that truck. Then that dump body on your truck won't beat ya up when you take the wife out on her yearly supper run.
