I don't know what it is with people doing drugs anymore, sometimes I feel like I barely know any sober people.

I'm totally immune to the emotion of death..I know that sounds fukked up..but it's true.

I could write a book about the people I've been close to in life that have been taken by drugs, murder and car/bike wrecks.

It is sad that you've seen that much death that you are immune. Still affects me when it is someone I knew.

I've had friends die of all sorts of things but I have one that died from smoking weed that had fentanyl in it today..that's a first.

when i was in the er they gave me fentanyl and another drug to offset the effects of the fentanyl
i would have rather had a different pain killer but that wasnt my choice to make either

It is..it's not something I'm proud of.

The human body is an amazing thing, and so is the mind. The body makes defenses against the body, and the mind makes defenses against our minds. Pretty sure it is a defense mechanism as most would crack otherwise. Just your mind dealing with death, nothing to be ashamed of. We all cope with stuff as best we can. Be glad you can, even if it sounds cold. You are in my prayers, even if you don't want to be.

This is one of my homies kids, he's a relic of another time..he's 11 and he'd bury most grown ass men when it comes to using a saw and splitting firewood..but he's the exception..not the rule.

He told me today gloves are for pussies...lol.

Gerry saw his older brother Robert come home from vietnam, with hundreds of stitches in his torso. Robert was almost completely cut in two from a fire fight in the jungle in vietnam, Robert was told he should of died over there.

Instead of marching in some anti vietnam parade like a lot of the younger ones were in the day.

Gerry man'd up and joined the army. After seeing what happened to his brother.

Robert after healing up for a several months, re-upped and went back for a 2nd tour. Robert did a total of 3 tours in vietnam.

I just wanted to share that.
