Good morning fappers.
Not a gunsmith by any means. Armchair one at best. Sounds like the follower.Have you ever had any issues with the internal box mag on your Remington long range?
My .300WM suddenly started not holding the rounds. Load 3 in, close the bolt and as the top cartridge slides forward the next one down pops up, lifting the top one and then causing it to hit the receiver and denting the case.
I've had that pos sheet metal box out and tweaked on it repeatedly with no good results.
I'm thinking of just converting it to a detachable box mag.
Good morning fellas.

I’ve had problems with them before. You can try stretching the follower spring.
For a little more up pressure.
I've never had any issues feed-wise with any of my internal mag 700 BDL's regardless of caliber but mine are all mid-70's to early 80's mfg'd guns. I've seen this done before and as Howard said, stretch the follower spring a little bit and see if that doesn't remedy it.Have you ever had any issues with the internal box mag on your Remington long range?

Hope it works for ya.I was more thinking it was an issue with the sheet metal box and didn't give spring pressure much thought. I'll give that a whirl. Thanks Howard.

My Dad worked on the Alaska pipeline. He said the temperature would be in the teens, sunny, no wind, no humidity, and the locals are walking around in T-shirts, or at least long sleeves with no coats. He said it never would have made sense to him if he weren't there to witness it. But yeah, -8 to -38 is a different story. He also said the cold there could kill you in short order if you weren't prepared.Last two weeks I lived in WI, it never got over zero, it was between -8 and -38 for almost two weeks straight, I moved out here, it was in the 40's during the day, I was running around in a t-shirt sweating, people at work thought something was wrong with me....they all had winter coats on, like it was below zero out.
Are u sure those homeless guys aren’t hipsters? LolBuilding not completely open yet. There are some people staying here on the 4th and 5th floors. 2 homeless guys out front this morning starting to fight with each other. Cops have been here once today already.
I think the manbun is a different breed, IMO There’s 2 types of hipsters, the scrawny 130lb lumberjack wannabes with beards and nerd glasses or there’s the homeless looking ones lolThinking about growing a man bun so I fit in with all you hipsters better.
