Actually I have been in the selling mood lately as well as buying. I think I have a Jonsered 2159 sold that I put together over the weekend. Tested it today and it might be taking a trip north for some tickling for the buyer. I do have pretty nice Husqvarna 359 and a few other saws that I will be selling. I have a nice Dolmar 6400/7910 with heat being ported and hoping to have that for the gtg in Minnesota. Are you going?

My Dad worked on the Alaska pipeline. He said the temperature would be in the teens, sunny, no wind, no humidity, and the locals are walking around in T-shirts, or at least long sleeves with no coats. He said it never would have made sense to him if he weren't there to witness it. But yeah, -8 to -38 is a different story. He also said the cold there could kill you in short order if you weren't prepared.

I went to bottineau north dakota in january, twice in the same week, to pickup 3 antique crawlers, and two 1940's trucks, a friend of mine bought. The first trip I was there, it was -42 actual temp, with the windchill factored in they said it was -60. They said on the radio it was the 2nd coldest temp in the USA that day, 1st coldest was some other town 30 miles west of there. I went back a few days later to get the next load, and it was kinda warmer -30.

Unless it's a blizzard or freezing rain, yup, I'll be there.

Let us know what you think of it once you get it out for a proper beating

I guess it will be a while before I get it all dirty unstuffs anyhow today was stressful to say the least

everything done online means it’s all new and your blind…. As in payments needs to be done and you send money to someone! Log books are on line and how do you check what your buying is what it is etc… wait a while and the blood pressure rises while it’s somewhere in cloud cuckoo land.. then an hr later the clouds clear. And your money reaches them.. and they say ok…

if I don’t have to buy another vehicle for another 10yrs I will be very happy.
and here’s a pic while I was eating chips for lunch ;)

I’ve never been to Australia, but I would think that moving to Manitowoc would be a big downgrade.
i was lucky enough to spend about 2 months in australia while my wife was studying there. the northern half is a little brutal, but she was in perth (sw corner) and it was absolutely awesome.

my wifes roommates boyfriend was an electrician that worked on mines several hours north of perth. it would get so hot tires would explode. if a can of pop was left in the truck for more than a few minutes it would go boom.
