I,m at a bee & beekeeping equipment auction today.

I just found out 5 frame nuc's were selling for between £200 & £250 at the other auction last month.
I wonder how much these two will fetch here

Cloudy but seems like the rain has moved off for a while.

The city of Winnipeg itself is safe from the flooding, years ago a massive diversion was built to reroute extra water at times like this. We sit in the bottom of a prehistoric lake bed, Lake Agassiz.
Probably the scariest thing about this year to me is how widespread the damage is. Not just the river valley but the full width of the ancient lake including the escarpments that were the shoreline millions of years ago.

Had a pretty bad tornado roll through North of here (south of @huskihl ) yesterday. Couple people dead so far. Wife’s been called into the State emergency ops center to work today.

Me too. When I was a kid I watched a funnel cloud go across our back 40. It touched down about 4 miles up the road and pulled the roof off the neighbors house and deposited it in a massive white oak tree in their front yard. Almost like a giant wanted to take a look at the wife’s knickers (she was pretty hot for a milf) which it decided to hang up in the branches along with the rest of their clothes. It was supposedly a small one.

Well it’s a good thing you weren’t in Gaylord, MI yesterday. The way it sounds this tornado picked up every shark out of Lake Michigan and used them to ássfuck the entire town
