Going down to 32 overnight, there was snow mixed in the rain this morning

Was chatting with the retired boss today, he had just got back from spending a couple days on the farm with his nephew. They had 54 calves born on Wednesday, 17 required pulling. Can you even imagine? I sure can’t.

17 required pulling. That would be a nightmare. I assume they are using AI instead of a bull. I'd not use that same semen again.

I have no idea but I’ll try and remember to ask. Ward says his nephew knows how many head he has but never says the number out loud. They are very concerned about feed right now, half their pastures are under water.

Seems like when some are having too much of one thing, others are having not enough.
We came into spring, and as soon as the leaves got out on the trees, the rain stopped.
