Anyone have a good solution for the tank protector on an older 044 fuel tank? I bought one not thinking I wouldn't have a place to mount a screw. But the webbing on the bottom of the tank will not accept a screw in it's natural state. I was thinking I'd have to epoxy a nut of some kind to the bottom of the handle for a screw/bolt to thread into. I don't really want to throw a chain into a nice 044 tank.

The older 044 tanks don't have a provision for the corner protector.
I now see said the blind man. It's $8.... I've spent $8 worse ways.
I'll see if I can't figure something out to attach it. I'd hate to have a fluke chain throw and there goes my nice tank.
