Did he tell you to GFY?

Nah, of the wildlife I see or could run in to on my walks he is my favourite. I’d like a daytime view some time to establish his type. The trees he was in this morning were home to some baby snowy owls last spring. I am wondering if he’s the dad and will be more this year. They were adorably cute to see.

$hit suddenly the new guy thinks he can hand out advice! Lol just poking ya buddy its good to have ya back.

I need to roll one small colder fire through there to cure the moisture out of the bricks and then that damper is indeed gone. Franks for confirming my suspicions about the stack height though.

Morning feelers don't blow your load yet Friday is just around the corner.
Them holey bricks prolly won't take the heat very well (they will crack) but they'll work for now as long as you don't disturb them much. If you can get some old antique solid bricks they'll work as well as any firebrick. +GFY

Oh they will most definitely crack. I just don't want any freak explosions. They've been sitting wet under melting snow and rain water for years. If it works out alright I'll replace them with fire brick next year.
