I would think if you fellers all chip in Kevin and I could put something together for you on a daily basis. What do you say @huskihl ?
Personally, if I'm purchasing internet content, the Snowbelt Diks Chainsaw Bullchit Hour is not what I would be looking to buy.

You shouldn't take those jobs for health reasons.
Yet you hoard all the anchors...

So.... I don't know exactly what your project is. But 383 & a 4l60e...... 2wd...... Non lockup.......Painless wiring......

Would it be more cost effective to build a 700r4 and ditch the computer all together?

I may be crazy but it's a thought.

Steven

I actually have a 700R.....but its mated to a transfer case. I also have a TH400. If I ditch the computer, a 700R, or the TH400 probably makes sense.

I'm in the planning stages of a 2002 2wd Chevy Blazer V-8 swap.

Have to talk to the boss man on that. I know chit about the project. But....... I do keep a healthy stock of late 80's early '90s 700r4's on hand for simplicity builds.

Steven

Good thinking.

257 converted to a ported 262. New OEM intake block and gaskets. Converted an HDA199 with the 257 shafts. New correct carb kit. No matter what I did to it, I couldn’t get fuel to the low side. No passageways blocked that I can see. But I could not for the life of me find any low side fuel going to the needle. So I drilled out a hole that had a brass plug in it right down into the low feed screw. Boom. Runs perfect

You're a smart fella.

If you need anything let me know. I have plenty of 2wd parts.
