If he cuts out the inner rockers the outers now have no support. It will bow out sometimes from the roof weight pushing down. If it does you skew the area where the quarters come into the door jam. I *frenched up a few cars. Fitting *s-word up after the fact sucks. More bracing is betterer. Fitting doors to a slightly out of whack door jams really SUCKS!

I don't believe it can bow with the 2" tube steel welded across the door openings. That tube steel is what will be supporting the outer rockers. The brace I drew in yellow is to keep the door jamb square front to back so it doesn't "parallelogram" on itself. I'll take lots of measurements before I unbolt the body and re-measure before I weld anything.

I'm just gonna be lifting it straight up and setting it on a couple 4x4s like so-

The bracing I've made is mostly just to make up for what I've cut out of the floor. I still can't visualize what you were describing in your last post. Can you find an example and post a link?

Gonna weld up the frame seems or do any boxing?

On one of my buddies dirt cars the robot laid a bead about an inch over from the seem.

He should and add a tubular cross member behind the trans.
Weld bungs in the frame and bolt it in trough the rails. I would when the frame is out, so easy.

Street stock cheat or another class?

Hobby stock with street tires. Street stock disappeared overnight when B mods came about plus finding good bodies after cash for clunkers and $240 a ton scrap iron put a dent in the local racing.

My neighbor and some guys are trying to pit together a wingless "B spec" sprint car class. Hope it takes off.

Yep. Gonna touch up the factory frame welds and box it in. Might fab it up myself but Hellwig makes a really nice prefab kit that is ready to weld in and looks factory. We'll see what happens.

G Force makes a very nice dual hump crossmember that I'll be using. UMI Suspension makes several other frame braces that are really nice, I'll be using them as well as tubular control arms.

Should be solid, as long as its got the Perkins diesel.
Harry Ferguson invented the 3 point hitch, so that should be pretty good. Does it have the 2 stage clutch for live PTO? I'm thinkin it should.
Clutch will give your knees he'll if you have to be on it a lot.
