Why tf were they showing you that stuff in high school?
Kids were different then. They didn’t run home to mom crying about the emotional distress they experienced in shop class. This was before they tried fixing stupid

Ever see the ones of the dudes who got pulled into lathes?

A guy at a place I worked at was wearing a loose and open flannel shirt over his T-shirt up on the table of a big a$$ cnc boring mill making holes in hoist frames. He got sucked in. They figure the only reason he survived was his strength fighting it because he "only" ended up with 8 broken ribs and lots of bruising. He was shirtless when he was able to get back from it. After that they installed a pressure sensor rubber "floor" around it so if he stepped on it it killed the machine.

Its amazing how quick things can go wrong.
Probably 15 years ago now I finished up a front cover gasket on a Buick 3.8.
Had it running and dropped something. When I reached for it the belt grabbed my hand, pulled it around until it was jammed up agsinst the engine mount, the crank pulley chewing on 1 side of my digits, the serpentine belt gnawing on the other side. I had no choice but to pull straight out.
Burgered up my digits pretty good, but I still have them.

No sh!t did they sew it back on stumpy:aplastao:

Yep....but now it doesn’t bend. Lost about 10mm in length too. The saw was on a 45 degree angle, and it cut thru the joint. Looking back now, I should have had it removed rather than reattached.

Morning, been a while since I posted on here, how's everyone doing,View attachment 256780local dealer is now selling these, looks really well made
