So it kinda seems to me like this thread has/had a bit of a hurt feelings problem rather than an actual politics problem.

I tend to agree with the sentiment that it is retarded to get bent about that sort of thing. The people that are being discussed don’t give a good Goddamn about us common peons. Actually I take that back. I don’t think I’ve ever seen actual retards arguing about politics.

I’m of the further opinion that the group here does a pretty good job of self moderation. Folks you cannot control what other people think about you, but you can control your own thoughts, feelings, and reactions. I typically try and choose to look for the best in everyone and give them the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes that takes a monumental effort, and sometimes I fail outright. In other words we are all human, we are all fallible, and we all have our own private battles…. Maybe choose to be kind.

We are all here because of a common interest in OPE. It seems like this place is the coolest when we stick to that and shoot the shít about life in general in our own sliver of the world. But at the end of the day though fellers this is your forum and thread and we aren’t twisting any ones arm to be here. Several of you made some good suggestions. How do you want me to manage the political stuff? Seems to me like a simple apology would go a long way after a perceived misstep?

Surviving. Worked in and on the shop today. Finally finished the wall panels and we got the kids project jeep running. Waiting on a bunch of parts but at least we know we have a good base. How’s things out your way? Family all good??Also got my flood light wired in…snowing like a mfer right now.

I drug around some bull manure for a little while today until it started getting a bit moist on the open station. At least mine will produce something. Going to get cold in the middle of next week, might feed a little extra just in case.

Now I wish I hadn’t gotten rid of some of the tires that were laying around here. That looks like the perfect setup for busting up horse crap.
