Shot at some guys cutting his logs and the dropped an MS 460 when they ran and he kept it.

Also ran the 460 on i forget how many tanks of straight gas and there was no damage.

He eventually changed his name to choppychoppy

I think he gifted someone a 20-pound box of junk chain in the Christmas giving thread one year.

Diesel is a byproduct of producing gasoline, so it SHOULD be cheaper than gasoline always - but it hasn’t been less in a long time..
Had to look it up cause I didn't know.

The question “is diesel a byproduct of gasoline” is currently ranked high on SERP pages because diesel is an extremely common fuel used both in domestic and industrial environments. Diesel is not the byproduct of gasoline, and it is quite a common perception that they both are interrelated in terms of how they are produced.

The scientific fact here is that they are not products of each other but, rather, are related due to a common source.

This is how you can see Russia from America

Little Diomede is part of Alaska and Big Diomede is Russian and you can see one from the other

Little Diomede is inhabited and my oldest son worked fuel barges in the Bering sea many years ago and on one trip there he and a friend "borrowed" the inflatable dinghy from the fuel barge and made a fast run over to Big Diomede just so they could say they did it

It is supposedly uninhabited but there are rumors of listening posts, etc

I think it was mattyo. He shipped a Stihl gas can with the tool box on the bottom to someone too. It was horribly packed and had a greasy hat and dirty coffee cup in the box. He blamed it on the special need Inuit kids they had working at the Stihl dealer.

Did you have a different, user / screen name back then? Or did you just lick the windows for years and years, before finally signing up?

You're always referencing things (from before you were a member on these saws sites) like you were there when it all happened.

Palmer area is pretty nice and the beauty of it is, it's not in Anchorage.

I was in Wasilla in '96 for the big fires all around Big Lake/Wasilla/Tanaina. I quite enjoyed it.

It was almost peak Mosquito season though, which was miserable at times.
Dam mosquitoes about crashed us one morning flying to the drill rig.

@HumBurner is around there.

I watched an old unsolved mysteries episode tonight from back when Robert Stack hosted it and there was a wild story about a guy that owned a logging supply place in Fortuna or somewhere around there that had twin daughters one of which was killed in an apparent arson and the other one survived a 12 gauge to the stomach and supposedly his son did it.

It's season 6 episode 8 if you wanna check it out.

Sulphur removal.
Do you remember, who it was that said they add sulphur back to there diesel for the lubrication purposes,
Ive been wanting to try it a for a bit but can’t remember the quantities/mixing volumes.

All I remember was sulphur powder and an amount of diesel , shake a lot then add some of the clear saturated diesel to a tank of diesel

Had to look it up cause I didn't know.

I remember doing a bit about crude oil at college, different crude oil (depending on which oil field it’s obtained etc.) has different properties. Ie some has higher amounts of desirable stuff than others, and they can and do mix the crude oils it to obtain more desirable products other factors that are considered are market demands and cost of production and transportation.
This first link glosses over the process a bit. But the second link is more detailed

Good morning you bunch of chatty girls…😁

This second low pressure is getting here quicker than expected.

The other day it was forecasted to be here Monday lunchtime 🤷‍♂️
I had forgotten how good this windy app is. however, they want a subscription for a longer range forecast ( which is never gonna happen ) .. but it does allow a lot of other stuff while using it for free..👍
