I know you told me but what part of Alaska are you in? My memory ain’t what is used to be.
"South Central" is what we call the area

I live outside of Palmer, which is about 45 miles north of Anchorage

The Alaska Range kind of rings us in on the west and north and the Chugach and Wrangell Ranges on the northeast and east and south

Plus the Gulf of Alaska and Cook Inlet

Sarah Palin’s neighbor
I am not sure where she lives these days

Edited: That was easy enough, she maintains her residency in Wasilla, our sister "city" just to the west, although she does spend a lot of time in America

My house is just about where it says Gateway, west of Palmer

Palmer area is pretty nice and the beauty of it is, it's not in Anchorage.

I was in Wasilla in '96 for the big fires all around Big Lake/Wasilla/Tanaina. I quite enjoyed it.

It was almost peak Mosquito season though, which was miserable at times.

Anchorage has gotten terrible, glad we didn't choose to live there when we moved back in from the bush

It was nice living there in the late 80s but now, not so much

Good evening yall. Hope everyone is having a good evening. Went and got a load of post oak and started a fire. Supposed to rain tomorrow so going to enjoy the dry firewood while I can.

The 261 ran good. Straight out of the box it came in from California and it fired on first few pulls ran good. Mtronic is where its at.

Wasn’t there some goofball named Valleyfirewood on AS that was from Palmer, AK?
Yeah, he was a handful

He said he made a lot of lumber from cottonwood/poplar for decking and stuff, as well as cutting real firewood

Always had to top every story and people finally just came out and said why do you feel the need to lie so much

I haven't run into anyone that might be him, but I don't really get out much

Can you see Russia from your house.

I remember that.

I need to look that back up but the gist of what she said or meant was you can see Russia from Alaska, which is actually true

I am not sure she said she could see Russia from her house, although that was what people kept repeating

Shot at some guys cutting his logs and the dropped an MS 460 when they ran and he kept it.

Also ran the 460 on i forget how many tanks of straight gas and there was no damage.

He eventually changed his name to choppychoppy
