lol nope this is the first year in about 10 years that we had a good accumulation of snowI'd move.
You know how rich folk say they can’t afford anything but then it shows upYou said you are too poor to move. Which is it ?
You mean up north ?How much snow up on the plateau?
Only a dusting here. Weatherman missed the .25 freezing rain. No outages on the grid map this morningLooks like we got 2.5" of snow. It looked like more last night. I guess that couple hours of sleet packed it down some. Currently 25 degrees with a high of 37 and a low of 15 tonight.
Do I have to come down there and teach those jackwagons how to drive a plow truck?! That’s ridiculous.View attachment 446192
We got another 2.5 inches overnight

Is that a single axle, or tandem axle plow truck? I had a tandem axle, and considered an emergency vehicle, would load it up with about 14 yards of sand/salt (80/20%) mix for weight. Rarely had to lock it in.lol 5 or 6 percent grade

The only single axle plow trucks here are used on the smaller, narrower gravel township roads. All state and county are tandems.but but but but they have cdl that says they professional lol

Same here.we dont have many gravel roads and they dont get plowed
backroads are tar and chip and they are low on list
Quite honestly, MN and my county have given people false sense of security when they clear the roads so quickly. People expect it now. So then when we do get a “bad” winter storm, people in the ditch all over, and others would be upset that they were late. No one thinks ahead to leave a little sooner anymore. It’s made everyone softer, and worse drivers because of it.My township decided last year that they will not send out the plows unless there's a minimum of 4" of snow.
Which means that the school busses and my daughter in her pos Chevy Cruze can hog through snow better than 90% of people south of Wisconsin.
Much like "smart" phones are making people dumber....Quite honestly, MN and my county have given people false sense of security when they clear the roads so quickly. People expect it now.
