Good morning. 26°F/ -3°C going up to 30°F/ -1°C. Only about 3" of snow on the ground.
Snuggling with them on the couch? Two calves born last night. Both are well.
Yankee! LolI just remembered that I forgot to edit a post I made a while back. I think I said I was south of I-40. What i meant to say is I-40 is just south of me.
It is 26° but that is likely the high for the day. One is up and mobile. Momma has it at a good spot with plenty of hay to bed down in. The other hasn't moved to the hay yet. I've got the tractor plugged up waiting for it to get warm enough to start so I can roll out more hay.Snuggling with them on the couch?
I wouldn’t expect anything less.We are always watching…….
Actually I don't even shoot much anymore at all but i like running my friends range whenever the kids or anyone in the family or friends want to shoot.I haven't tried a red dot on a handgun
Might have to give it a whirl
Great assessment.Actually I don't even shoot much anymore at all but i like running my friends range whenever the kids or anyone in the family or friends want to shoot.
I was surprised at how fast and accurate even first time shooters are with the dots.
It takes much of the guesswork out of it
I prefer iron sights on pistols but as my eyes get worse with age i like them more.
And can hit easier at distance if i still hunted i wouldn't hesitate to use a dot.
Year's ago I bought a couple of sig Romeo 5s for my ARs and pretty much quit using scopes
I couldn't tell you any difference from the budget under 100.00 dots to the premium one's they all look about the same to me
Just some are shake awake other's you hit a button some have a battery tray from the side some are underneath and you take the dot off.
I have budget sig,CT,cylee, primary arms, bushnell
And have shot holosun,trijicon,aimpoint
I'm sure they're better but i can't see paying double or triple for them.
They are called game wardens here. That’s only according to the DNR…
Go out with a camera then.
Same here - the Game Wardens are employed by the Dept of Natural Resources in this state. They are called game wardens here.
Suckass lolI wouldn’t expect anything less.
I was raised by a violator. But don’t condone that behavior. Playing by the rules is the best policy. I enjoy hunting too much to lose my rights over something silly.
That being said, I’ll never turn a guy in for hunting out of season to feed his family in need. But I’ll be the first one to call if someone is poaching for sport or just the antlers.
“What God giveth, the DNR taketh away.”
I realize it’s a hard job to regulate game - fine line between protecting the herd and it’s numbers, and allowing the public to hunt at will.
NC wildlife resources commission here. Covers all hunting and fishing in the state.Same here - the Game Wardens are employed by the Dept of Natural Resources in this state.
