How are the side roads down that way? We kept getting sleet/snow/whatever yesterday evening and it’s pretty slick out here. I’m supposed to be headed to Vonore this morning to help those guys but I may tell I ain’t coming!

Roads down here in the valley are fine. The ground wasn't cold enough for anything to stick to or freeze. Headed down to Chatt this morning. The plateau might be a different story, especially up north of I-40.

Are rifle primers still 10 cents apiece? Large rifle was pretty much unobtainium for a while. Started being available six months ago. Leaving them for others as I still have plenty.

I got some new boots fitted to my truck yesterday afternoon
while the garage had the wheels offI noticed I will need new front pads very soon

I guess I’ll have to go find some mud or something preferably after I change the front pads

If you’re going to go play in the mud, do it before you put new brakes on. Mud wrecks brakes fast! All that abrasive grit in the pads and rotors is no good. Go get it out of your system, then have your brakes replaced.

Agreed. Although I haven’t loaded since we moved 3 years ago, my bench is all set up and waiting for whenever I’m ready to start again. 2 of my rifles need new barrels, which is most of the reason I haven’t needed to reload lately. That, and I’m pretty well stocked.

Making test loads and finding the right recipe for each rifle and bullet combo, is fun to me. Gives me an excuse to go shoot, too.
