That’s a steal you need to jump on that one, those 307’s are mean as hell wonder what Chinese rebuild kits in the engine being that stuff has really come around last few years.

This weekend when you are not busy I'm going to need you to come over and tear down my truck engine to inspect the bearings.
Kthanks.
Sorry Ed, the weekend between Christmas and New Year is the annual WD40ing of the deck on the Gravely and resistance testing of all of the light bulbs in the house. Try @LAWN BOY

Good morning fellas. I see ya’ll are fighting over that 307 30th over truck.. Well have I got a deal for you: I’ve got a mutt SBC 350 block, .060” over, with a 307 crank, for a total of 336 ci.. fur sale. I can post the utoob video of it on the dyno if you’d like to see it run.

For real, 307 cast iron crank in a 350 block. Balanced of course. Built for a Wissota BMod back when I was doing that full time. The smaller cubic inches pulled better with the limited carb size the class required.. Still have the engine in the garage.

Where did you have the dyno work done? That's a Stuska Track master dyno kit, running an xs-211 absorber. I built and sold a bunch of those at my previous employer.

I was an engine machinist at TMeyer Inc in Fairmont, MN for a couple years. He let me do the dyno time for free, on the weekend. I would work my shift building engines for the business, then come back after supper and work on my own engines until almost midnight, most days of the week. TMeyer no longer builds engines I guess, he ventured into machining niche Ford parts and having aluminum and also cast iron blocks made for the C and M series engines. His claim to fame was his 434 stroker kit for the 351M and 400M engines.

As big a ford guy as I am the 351m and 400 are probably some of my least favorite engines. The 351c on the other hand was great till it got modified for emissions into the 351m.
