I had a fantastic mod yesterday on a mint 346 tank, took out the old vent system to put in a new upgraded vent, 550 vent.
Those who know know that there are two vent plugs sitting there, I got the outer one off easily, the inner one not so well, ended up using a wera micro screwdriver, and after a while I had two vent holes in the tank, my hand also got a vent hole lol

Flintlock season starts tomorrow. Can’t hunt anything today so I took a walk. Lots of deer tracks heading into our woods. A Christmas deer would be cool.

Arthritis runs in the family and the weather changes tend to be felt in my hands the most. Probably slinging boxes isn't the best thing for it but I deal with it. Some days it takes a little longer to work the kinks out.

Morning slackers. Merry Christmas happy holidays and all that bull sh!t. Got the smoker temp sensor replaced Monday so I’m doing a test to see if it’s going to fix my issues from
Thanksgiving. After 12 minutes it had already got up to 160 so I’m thinking it’s going to be back to normal. I need to install the insulated blanket later and maybe smoke some cheese. Enjoy this time with family and friends.

Merry Christmas fellas!

Yesterday when the wife left work, she asked if I needed anything and I jokingly told her a brisket. Well she swung into Sam’s Club and picked up a 14 lbs brisket for cheap. Upon looking at the label, it was mis-marked as Boston Butt. We’ll take it! It’s on the Pit Boss now - we’ll be enjoying Christmas brisket later today.
