Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
I'm going to town to do some grocery shopping, I'm planning on spending some time today gathering together the 345, 346 and 357 parts I have lying around.

Tomorrow I'm going to MaskinSalg to pick up a few parts, and then we'll see which 346/353/357/359 decals are still available at Husqvarna.

Husqvarna has started to phase out the 3xx series, so if anyone loves the series it's important to buy what you need to have lying around, now.

Sadly, I'm afraid you are right in this assessment at least from what parts Husqvarna has left here in the States. Then again, parts even for current models are not always in stock.
Figures that I have a few project saws that need doing a couple of 359's a 357xp and a 359G. I do have a NOS 359 top end kit, still going to need at least a couple new 357xp cylinders. Guess I best start gathering up parts like you are doing.
At least my 346xp project is near done and a 350/340 project has everything needed to do.
Looking like in the future the only 3-series worth doing will be on the 372xp chassis.

Say it ain’t so
Everyone will be tossing them into the lakes and the poor fish will get tangled in the wires

We have similar projects obviously.
I don't want to spend money on NOS cylinders and cranks. I might buy a 346 crank if I get a good dealer price, $320 full price is out of the question anyway. Luckily I bought NOS NE top end when they were cheap. I shipped all my G gear to the US last time I was doing chainsaws, so I'm completely dependent on hoping for a 346/353G donor saw.

My 357 project will be without G parts, full wrap non heather. I get the handle tomorrow and have a good crank, and some used parts but no usable case. The 357 project doesn't stress me out, just waiting until I get a 357/359 crankcase.

My 340/350 project is complete luckily.

I'll find out tomorrow what decals are still available, and next time I order I'll get some 346 and 357 boots, you never know what the clowns from Husqvarna will decide to stop production on.
