Sorry to hear the news of Stellantis/Jeep Gladiator Toledo plant 1100 workers 2nd shift. I'll leave it at that.
Under the union contract with Stellantis, laid-off workers will get supplemental pay for one year that, when combined with state unemployment benefits, will equal 74% of regular pay. They'll also get health insurance coverage for two years, Stellantis said.

Thank God for unions.....or are we against unions now too? I can't keep up.

Absolutely Not Against Brotherhood Bossman.
That's good news I haven't heard yet Randy.

The Jeep Gladiator sales vs other mid sized trucks is horrible. According to everything I'm reading that's why they are laying off workers. Peak sales for that truck was 2 years ago, and falling like a rock since.

Bring manufacturing back they said....LOL

There is still a good amount of products made in the USA, just not always easy to find.

Here's a site that's dedicated to only featuring USA made products.

This site is all about only featuring USA made outdoor gear, camping, etc.

Stellantis did all of this on purpose to run this American mfg into the ground. They got rid of the SRT program right of the bat. Why would you get rid of one of the biggest money makers they had at the time? Do you really think that a bunch of red blooded Americans were going to buy an electric car with fake engine noises from a speaker lol *b-word please. The other thing I watched them do is eliminate the 3.6 from the ‘25 JL UNLESS you order a manual. That eliminates your buying market of anyone under the age of 40. They either go with a EV or the 2.5 or what ever their small hybrid is. Or they buy a Bronco, which is over priced too and has a bs IFS but thats another rant.

The Compass…gone. So is the Cherokee among other affordable crossovers/suv’s. What does the American consumer have to choice from? A 135,000 Jeep Wagoneer. Well kiss my white a$$ I will do without before I buy that pile of chit. Theres a lot of other things going on there too that ive heard about but thats enough you get the picture.

To me its either on purpose or they were just to dumb to realize what they did.

Never underestimate stupid people in suits.

Most "high level executives" in this country ain't in the position they're in because they are intelligent. They get promoted because of who their families are. Failing upward their entire lives.

Gladiator sales dropped because noone can afford them. A nice Rubicon loaded starts at like 70. The JL 392 was 90.

They never offered one that was affordable even a Sport is mid 40’s

Being ugly as hell didn't help sales either.
