When we have come up the next hill I will have a T split, straight ahead will be to the end of my farm, while the T split left will be up a mountain called Kinnheia.
I'm kidding people when I say I'm building a road to facilitate wind power, them scarecrows the fanatics can stuff up their ass.
If I manage to get up by forest road to the first plateau on Kinnheia, I will build a cabin there, nothing fancy, just a small cabin.
“We should always have our interests first” almost sounds communist, what about the capitalist ideal, in my pocket is better than in your pocket? We will never not be part of the global economy, we should always have our interests first. I was better off 4 years ago then I am now. Selling tariffs to the American people does require some deception, as nobody wants to feel any more pain. It is like physical therapy, it hurts some, but in the end it benefits us. We just saw what we went through the last 4, I don't want 4 more of that. I am not a fan of the man, but I like the no wars, better outlook part. We will always be fine. I have never met a politician I like.
100% part of every political system in every country always.Good thing there hasn't been any of that the last 4 years.
Companies have increased prices to cover the tariffs, then move production to a non tariff country and keep the same prices. Those non tariff countries are not home to the US, they are Vietnam, India, Philippines and parts of Africa. The tariffs that Trump introduced in his first term and continued by Biden (none of them will give up an income stream) have not sparked any significant change or return to US manufacturing, it has just caused companies to move to another 3rd world country. It seemed as though it was to raise the prices making the corporations more money, it is to dissuade companies from offshoring. Also to penalize those that already have.
I have a unique view as I see the result of imports from China in to two different countries everyday. The prices out of China are consistent to both Canada and the US, the price to consumer in the US is as much as 40% higher to the US consumer than Canadians. We used to cross border shop for the good deals, now we see the same prices on the shelf but have a dollar that is worth almost 40% less.China will pay when they drop the prices of the good's they make to keep the deal afloat.
Also, I don't believe the man will just go out and go tariff crazy, sometimes just the threat of something to come will be enough to garner the desired change, or the leverage to bargain with/from later. Lots of different angles to go by. One thing is for sure, he's talking about it now for a reason.
My question is what of an industry that never was manufactured here in the good 'ol US of A, like aftermarket chainsaw parts for example, will someone pick up the ball and run with it or will the game just fade away to History?
Beautiful Tor, Looks alot like western Pa. with the mossy rocks and trees. Excellent road bed material.Good morning folks,

well said“We should always have our interests first” almost sounds communist, what about the capitalist ideal, in my pocket is better than in your pocket?
Trust me, I am a capitalist and rely on consumerism to survive but you have to admit that your current system (and ours) is riggged so that the elites are the ones that benefit most.

This isn’t just Chinese imported goods either, groceries costs are almost the same from one country to the other but again the dollar differenrce. The cereal and beverage industries, both mostly domestic US production are really screwing you guys with price increases. Has nothing to do with anything but corporate greed and knowing they can get away with it as you didn’t complain when prices on everything else went up due to tariffs. They took advantage of the tariff related inflation and inflated their own profits.
Again, I am a capitalist at heart but you are being lied too and China is not paying you are paying.
I wouldn't move.
Thanks a lot folks,Beautiful Tor, Looks alot like western Pa. with the mossy rocks and trees. Excellent road bed material.
Quit pissing in your yard you are killing the grass with the saltIn today's Days of our Lawns, Adam and his son spread a commie metric trailer load of sand in the wheel tracks and low spots, Ed says "Fūkk that" while Randy considers Never Moving.
Tune in next time where Dallas is caught encouraging the grass with "How's you slacker" sweet nothings.
